The Lighter, The Brighter, The Better?

Now this is an issue that I have always wanted to address...


There is a saying that goes... the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice, but my question is...


Does the light bitter juice look better, than that black sweet juice? & seeing that we are drawn to what the eyes see, would we be willing to try that light colored juice before the darker one?
